MB News | Centre Pompidou – Creation of a Visitor’s Guide/WeChat Mini Program in Chinese
On December 16, 2019, the Centre Pompidou announced the launch of a brand new tool for the Chinese public: a WeChat mini program offering a visitor’s guide to the permanent collections of the Museum. Thanks to this digital tool, specifically designed for them, the Chinese visitors will have access to in-depth information about the artworks, artists, and movements which shaped the 20th century’s art history. MB Projects is very proud to have created this mini program and its content, in partnership with Como Network.
MB News | Centre Pompidou – #PompidouVIP campaign on Chinese social networks
On December 11, 2019, the Centre Pompidou launched the #Pompidou VIP campaign introducing and massively promoting the “Very Important Pieces” of its modern and contemporary collections to the international public. This campaign is simultaneously conveyed to the Chinese public through a specific campaign on the museum’s WeChat and Weibo official accounts. MB Projects is very happy to be managing these accounts since October 2019 and to support the Centre Pompidou in its efforts to engage with and welcome the Chinese public.
MB News | Opening of the Centre Pompidou x West Bund Museum Project
On November 8th the Centre Pompidou x West Bund Museum Project officially opened its doors in Shanghai, in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron, with two exceptional exhibitions, The Shape of Time and Observations, and a rich program of indoor and outdoor performances, children activities, workshops, and talks, kicking-off a 5-year collaboration between the Centre Pompidou and the West Bund Development Group, the largest ever artistic cooperation between China and France. MB Projects was happy to advise and accompany the Centre Pompidou and the West Bund Group in their collaboration.
MB News | Fondation Cartier – Jean Nouvel retrospective opens at the Power Station of Art, Shanghai
After A Beautiful Elsewhere in 2018 and Ishigami: Freeing architecture in the summer of 2019, the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain inaugurated its third collaboration with the Power Station of Art in Shanghai with Jean Nouvel, in my head, in my eye… belonging…: a retrospective of the work of world famous architect Jean Nouvel, who designed the building of the Fondation Cartier in Paris. On view until March 1, 2020. MB Projects is happy to be continuously assisting the Fondation Cartier with its projects in China, and to be managing their official WeChat and Weibo accounts.

MB News | “Junya Ishigami, Freeing Architecture”
A huge success in Paris in 2018 at the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, where it was first created the exhibition Junya Ishigami, Freeing Architecture is now presented in Shanghai, at the Power Station of Art, from July 18 to October 7, 2019.
FCF | 2019 Young Leaders Seminar in Provence and Paris
The 7th session of the France China Foundation’s Young Leaders Program took place on July 5-8, 2019 in Provence and Paris, with “Optimism!” as the main theme for discussion. 45 Young Leaders from China and France gathered for a fruitful 4-day of visits, meetings, and discussion sessions, thanks to which they could exchange views and get to know each other. Highlights in the program were the participation of the group in the Rencontres Economiques d’Aix-en-Provence, the visit of Arles Photo Festival, thecamp, and Château La Coste. In Paris, the Young Leaders discovered the National Assembly led by Members of Parliament, Young Leaders themselves.

From June 1st to July 31st the Palace Museum hosted the exhibition Cartier and The Palace Museum Craftmanship and Restoration Exhibition, an unprecedented collaboration between the French Maison and China’s most important cultural institution, with more than 850 pieces.
