Third Edition of Women In Motion at West Bund, a Landmark Contemporary Dance Festival in Shanghai
Women In Motion at West Bund returned for its third edition from September 20-22, offering a fantastic program of performances, films, improvisation sessions, workshops, and talks, held at the West Bund Museum in Shanghai. The featured artists for this edition, French and Chinese choreographers Julie Nioche, Hou Ying, and Gu Jiani, presented their new work and collaborations to a large and captivated audience. MB Projects is proud to have accompanied Kering in creating the concept and format of Women in Motion at West Bund and in developing each new edition over the past years.
Musée Cernuschi, the museum of Asian arts of the city of Paris, opens its first exhibition in China at Bund One Museum in Shanghai
The Journey of Ink: Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings from the Musée Cernuschi officially opened in Shanghai on September 5th. 89 exceptional artworks from the collections of the Asian art museum of the city of Paris, one of the most important Asian arts museums in Europe, are now on view at Bund One Art Museum, until January 5th, 2025. MB Projects is very proud to have introduced this exhibition in China and to have been instrumental in its organization.

From April 14 to 16, 2023, the audience in Shanghai had the chance to attend the second edition of Women In Motion at West Bund, a choreography festival that presented the work of renowned choreographers Régine Chopinot, Wen Hui and Wang Mengfan, alongside workshops and educational programs.

Women In Motion Mentorship Program, promoting creativity and dialogue between young female creators and established artists.
On January 10, 2023, took place in Shanghai the Women In Motion Mentorship Program, the new program by Kering dedicated to empowering women in the arts. During a half-day session young Chinese female creators had the opportunity to meet and share experiences with three established artists from different fields: soprano Ying Huang, contemporary ink wash artist Peng Wei, and contemporary dancer/choreographer Duan Ni.
