Dance…

…with the organization for Kering of the second edition of Women In Motion at West Bund. The choreography festival featured Chinese contemporary choreographers Wen Hui and Wang Mengfan, as well as French choreographer Régine Chopinot who came to Shanghai for the occasion. Three days of live performances, workshops, and talks, where the Shanghainese audience had once again the chance to see and experience incredible choreography and interact with amazing artists. More to come in 2024! (read more)

Photography…

…with the presentation in Shanghai of the iconic Raymond Depardon’s work, brought for the second time to the Power Station of Art by Fondation Cartier. La vie moderne, an exhibition focusing on a very intimate part of his work, the one he did in rural France, presented several series of photographs and films from different periods. Immersion and digital…

…one of the fastest developing industries in China. At MB Projects we spent the autumn diving into the incredible array of technologies, experiences and operators that are enriching the Chinese scene, and discovering the opportunities for foreign actors in this field! (Don’t hesitate to reach out if you want to know more! 😊)

Reconnecting…

…with artists, institutions, clients… 2023 was filled with encounters at all levels and we are very proud to have strongly contributed to the fundraising for the launch of Fondation France-Asie, an independent endowment fund aimed at promoting exchanges between French and Asian civil societies, encouraging dialogue and the development of new partnerships between France and Asia. At the same time for the France China Foundation we continued organizing a rich program of activities throughout the year, and we are very excited that the spring of 2024 will see the return of our Young Leaders program to China.

Sharing…

…about our clients on Chinese social media to keep the local audience informed and engaged. WeChat, Channels, Weibo and Bilibili are some of the platforms in which we regularly post news and reviews, organize campaigns, collaborate with KOLs, produce podcasts etc. As a result our clients, Centre Pompidou, Versailles, Fondation Cartier, Paris Musées, and Arte Charpentier keep strengthening their image and growing their communities in China.

Korea…

…whose cultural and artistic scene we have researched in depth over the second half of 2023. Cultural operators, artists, events… the Korean wave is rapidly spreading across the globe and in 2024 MB Projects will be developing exciting new projects in the country. Stay tuned!

Team…

…always curious, enthusiastic, and insightful. Working from Shanghai, Paris, and now Seoul, at MB Projects we keep bringing all our passion and know-how to help our clients build amazing projects in Asia.

Thank you to all the clients that trusted us in 2023, Ambassade de France en Chine, Arte Charpentier, Centre Pompidou, Château de Versailles, Fondation Cartier, Fondation d’entreprise Pernod Ricard, France China Foundation, Kering, Paris Museés and Tix Media.
