Starting 2026 at MB Projects

Posted on Feb 1, 2026 in MB News

As the year gets underway, MB Projects continues its work supporting cultural institutions, brands, and partners in the development of ambitious projects between Europe and Asia.

Looking back briefly at 2025, it was a dense and active year. The cultural sector in China remains remarkably dynamic, even amid economic slowdown and geopolitical uncertainty. Collaborations between French and Chinese institutions continue to move forward, and brands increasingly see culture as a strategic space for long-term engagement.

In 2025, we accompanied exhibitions and institutional projects for Fondation Cartier (Fabrice Hyber exhibition at the Power Station of Art), Paris Musées (Musée Cernuschi in Shanghai), and architecturestudio (launch of Tracé Bleu in China).

We also continued to strengthen the digital presence of major French institutions for Chinese audiences — from Château de Versailles and Centre Pompidou to Paris Musées and Fondation Cartier, with RED (Xiaohongshu) now a key platform.

A significant part of our work also focused on strategic advisory and research, supporting the positioning, economic models, and long-term vision of several cultural initiatives in China and Europe – from a forthcoming art center in Shanghai to digital communication strategies for classical music institutions engaging with Chinese audiences. More to come – stay tuned!.

We continued to engage in cultural dialogue and leadership through the France China Foundation, organizing the annual Young Leaders Seminar in Paris and Marseille, as well as the France–China Track 2 Forum, while laying the groundwork for a future Korea chapter of the Fondation France-Asie.

Looking ahead, we look forward to continuing this work throughout 2026!
